Horse-safe by design
Horses need fencing they can see and cannot get hurt on: smooth rails, no protruding hardware, and heights and spacing that discourage leaning and reaching. We do not recommend barbed wire or unprotected field wire around horses. We position gates where they are convenient for daily turnout and set posts to handle the pressure a horse puts on a fence line.
Wood, vinyl or aluminum rail?
Wood rail has the traditional look and the lowest upfront cost, but South Florida heat, rain and termites mean maintenance. Vinyl and aluminum rail cost more up front and stay clean-looking with almost no upkeep, which is why many equestrian communities have moved to them.
